One night and one space to use all the beamers you can get your hands on in order to transform an empty space into an exhibition like you've never experienced before.
Friday December 14th, SETUP, Liefhebber and FIBER will join forces to organise an extra large edition of ‘Bring Your Own Beamer’. Experienced before in both Amsterdam and Utrecht, they will push this one-night-exhibition into a visual extravaganza. This collaboration will take place in the old and beautiful industrial hangar ‘NUtrecht’, situated right next to trainstation Zuilen, making it easily accessible by public transportation.
Everyone is invited to put any kind of video work up for display in this new context and scenery. Expect an experimental evening during which a variety of artists, cultural institutions, galleries, college students and collectors of film and video showing their own art will be presented.

Part of the BYOB-programme are three workshops during which newcomers to contemporary visual art & design will be introduced to disciplines like projection mapping, VJ-ing and cinemagraphs (moving photographs). During these workshops everyone has the chance to create their own project. The outcomes will be presented directly during BYOB in December. All workshops will be lead by experienced and professional creatives like photographer Adam Saint, motion graphic designer Tibor den Held and Utrecht based visual collective DEFRAME. Dates and more detailed information about these workshops can be found on SETUP’s website.
