Florian Thalhofer

Florian Thalhofer is a Berlin based media artist who's main topic is nonlinear and interactive narration.

He was born in 1972 in the region Oberpfalz of Germany. In 1995 he began his studies at the University for the Arts (Universität der Künste, Berlin) in the digital media class of Prof. Joachim Sauter and Prof. Willem Velthoven. Within the programme he studies at the Bellas Artes, in Barcelona and to the Ucla in Los Angeles. He did his Diploma of Arts in December 2000 and now works as a lecturer with the Universität der Künste, Berlin teaching Interactive Narrative. He also works as a painter, journalist, author, photographer, graphic designer, video director and can be contracted for the abduction of ornamental garden dwarfs.
For Mediamatic he teaches at the Workshops on Interactive Narration.
