Actually, you Föhn has been designed by someone else: Reinhold Weiss in the mid-1960s.
The orange (equally underpowered) one that I gave to Gillian is a Dieter Rams design (HLD4 1970).

Actually, in general I don't think it should be turned on for the safety of others.
