Backend developer

Currently I am a backend developer at mediamatic.

I recently completed a master of theoretical computer science (meaning: logic) at the VU university. During my studies at the VU I also worked there as a student-assistant: teaching classes and programming stuff, among other things.

As a computer scientist 'm interested in language design & theory, computer graphics, semantic web and keeping stuff simple.

As a human being I like hanging out with friends, art-house movies(I highly recommend Synecdoche, New York) and music (Bright eyes, Iron & wine, the Decemberists etc.).
