BMW:
"The idea for the original Gangsta started over a decade ago when riding our 1970s English track bike. Starting from scratch we wanted to design a frame that maintained the nimble handling of traditional track geometry, but without the normal pitfalls of toeverlap and low speed oversteer, and it had to be stout enough to race and work on 7 days a week. The first prototypes were tested on the streets of London, Tokyo, and back alleys of NYC. After a few messenger-refined tweaks, and countless hours of CAD work, the Gangsta was born."
