Add the title of the linkBASA started its activities with the Name of (CACA-KABUL) at the beginning of the Transitional Government, and tel now it has been doing its best for cultural development in Afghan society. BASA tries to open new ways to support individual artists and filmmakers for a better environment to creating modern and quality
art and cultural products.

Our activities are co/producing documentary and narrative films, launching film training courses, organizing public screenings for special audience, supporting foreign production teams inside Afghanistan, encourage and supporting women's handicrafts, sending artist's works to international festivals, and organising large cultural events such as film festivals in Kabul city.

Film projects produced by BASA have been internatinally screened and awarded in a lot of prestegious film festivals around the world. Among other projects, the documentaries Pamir Terretory (2003), Drought in Hazarajat (2003), and The End of the Earth(2001) are the internationally awarded films.

The most recent BASA production is 25 Percent (2007) a documentary film on Afghan female members of parliment and their difficulties and strugles gaining women rights and freedom in the male-dominant environment of the Wolesi Jirga.
This movie screaned for Uk, Narwy and Sweedesh parleiament members.
BASA (Bashgahe Cinema) it means Afghanistan Cinema Club, BASA is Registred in Menistery of Information and Culture and AISA.

In 1/9/09 BASA stard TV Commercials whit the profecionals which have experiences in Witnam, Singapor, Iran and Pakistan.
