As students pursuing a Master’s in Industrial Design Engineering, they formed a team through a shared interest in experimental design and research. With backgrounds ranging form mechanical engineering, to 3D design, econometrics, crafts, and graphic design, their diverse skill set allowed for a unique approach and process. Bare was initially presented at the Royal College of Art Interim show in February, 2009, and from then went on to exhibit at the Student Interaction Design Conference (SIDeR 2009) in Eindhoven, Holland. It was recently invited to participate in both the 2009 ARS Electronica festival in Linz, Austria, 100% Materials in London, and TALENT 2009 in Eindhoven.
