"Where does happiness reside these days?”
The winners of this year’s ARC Poster Exhibition can probably guess the answer: by questioning the generic frames of poster-representation they revealed their thoughts without limitations in this forum characterized by the freedom of opinion.

Where does happiness reside in everyday life? When the answer comes through nearly all the channels of the media, the solution to this problem becomes easy… almost trivial. It’s enough to fill the shopping cart with a bunch of brand new stuff like a pair of trendy slippers, a make-up set offering a new face, a shiny new car full of extras. We have nothing else to do but chose from the affordable sources of happiness then sit back and enjoy life. Can it be so simple? The winners of this year’s ARC Poster Exhibition can probably guess the answer.

The applicants could chose from a number of topics as is usual by now: under the slogan “There must be a plan!” the jury was expecting visual solutions for the rational use of the remaining natural sources of the Earth and the ways to avoid the extinction of animals and desertification; the Voice of Women topic raised thoughts in some of us who feel that gender equality is still an illusion. Applicants to the competition of ARC interpreted a piece of news of their choice in a short cartoon slip in the topic of Fresh and Crunchy Comics .
Within the context of realizing shared experiences − shared thoughts − shared perspectives Nokia’s competition Music − Dance − Picture was intended to show the pictures of our favorite music translated into the language of dance.
