Mediamatic Atelier is a facility where we research and develop different types of soft-and hardware and (interactive) installations like the IkCam. Since 2006 we focus on integrating RFID technology into playful and experimental installations and games. These projects work on- and with the social networks and community's that Mediamatic Lab develops.
The program is a collaboration of Mediamatic Foundation and Mediamatic Lab. Mediamatic Lab is the partner organisation of the foundation that develops projects for clients. In the Atelier, the technological experience of the Lab is made available to autonomous projects of individual artists and groups.
