In June 2003, Octogon Magazine was awarded the Joseph Pulitzer memorial prize in the creative team and editorial category.

Editor-in-chief, Bojár Iván and his team of dedicated architecture enthusiasts have published tens of editions of the luxurious, weighty tome, packed with more than 150 glossy pages of architecture, design and news in Hungary and Europe. Many articles appear in both Hungarian and English translations.

Octogon filled a niche in the market at the start of the 1990s, when there were many varying, high-quality architecture examples in Hungary. “We wanted to make a window on Hungarian architecture for Europe.” Octogon also focuses on design and their latest project is a series of books about these topics.
