Stefano Casciani

Stefano Casciani is a designer, critic,architect, curator, and consultant. He is especially known for his work with the prestigious architecture and design journal, Domus, where he has served as the deputy director since 2007.

Casciani participated in the experimental activities of the Studio Alchimia and has worked as a communication consultant, art director, and designer for many design companies, among which are Alessi, Bisazza, Bticino, Cassina, Ivalo Lighting, Biennale di Venezia, Triennale di Milano, and City of Rome.

He is internationally recognized today as an influential and singular figure in the design world due to his multifaceted career. Visiting Professor in design and architecture schools and universities in Italy and abroad, Casciani has written hundreds of articles and more than twenty books, mainly focusing on the relationships between architecture, design, and art.
