Gro Dahle (*1962) is a Norwegian poet and author of many children's books. She is a prolific writer, with over sixty books published since her literary debut in 1987, and has won a number of prizes for her work, including the Norwegian national children's book prize in 2003 for her book Sinna Man ('Angryman'). The book has been praised for the way it portrays the difficult topic of a young boy witnessing domestic violence, and has been translated in many languages.
Dahle's writing has been described as stylistically naive, imaginative and humorous.
