The art fair makes an annual art „market“ available to the public – a diverse forum offering the latest developments in the visual arts with thousands of originals in one location.
The location of Prague’s art fair within Europe and the growing interest of participants from abroad are of indisputable importance. Art Prague 2008 will feature a number of galleries from France, Germany, Italy and The Netherlands. The inevitable international connections and discussions in Prague have been most fruitful, resulting in several joint projects between Czech and foreign galleries fostering the presentation of Czech art abroad.
This year there is a major innovation in organizing the fair. The exhibition grounds are dramatically enlarged with 5 locations downtown.
