I’m Leyang (She/Her).
I studied law and international relations in China, and later obtained my Master in Human Rights Law from Leiden University.
As we step into an era with every existing system questionable, I take interests in exploring the emancipatory potential of art. I believe that even the most radical revolution could start from a trivial, everyday practice.
Towards that purpose, I read, write and draw. To me, joining Mediamatic is a move to explore the intersection of art, nature and humans with a communal spirit.
Currently, I mainly participate in the programming and production of upcoming exhibitions and events.
