Tips for better storytelling in front of a camera

- Use words, images, sounds, and improvisation
- Think of a good ending for your story, in words/ your last facial expression
- Describe the characters in the story/ How do they relate to you?
- Think of the audience and being interesting to the viewers
- Think of your body language
- Think about your facial expression
- Think about the use of your voice
- Use pauses/ Use a pause to figure out what you’re about to say/ Use a pause at the ending of your story (to let the story sink in)
- Try to look straight in the camera
- Never look down!
- Think of ways to involve the viewer (asking question, addressing them in the story)
- Visualize the story while telling it
- Draw the story before telling it
- Keep the main emotion of the story in your head while telling it
- Keep breathing
- Tell it in your own words
- Open up yourself if you agreed to participate
- Be confidant or Act confidant
