Kinetic Robot Workshop

Moving solar robots in combination with Schmelzolan

12 Sep 2009

Build your own moving analog solar robot and seal it in molten schmelzolan plastic forms. You will create kitschy kinetic objects for windows, windowsills or overheadprojectors.

Anyone can do it!

In this workshop we work with solar analog electronic (Beam), soldering and "Schmelzolan". Schmelzolan is a handicraft technique mostly used by German housewives. With modable plastic you can create a case for your kinetic robot. Electronic know-how is not required. All self-build creatures can be taken home.
