MSLM - the Burqua Silhouette -

Because these young women grew up in the Netherlands, because they are Dutch, their background combined with their basic set of rules creates a fashion-clash which results in new interesting forms and silhouettes for both Muslim and non-Muslim women. With this project MAMA shows how the industry plays in to the wishes of this group of girls who have specific demands for the way they dress. Designers are inspired and influenced by them, use elements of another culture or design custom-fit products. From traditional to trendy, from the Mid-East to the West.

At the opening MAMA will also launch the trilingual glossy MSLM packed with fashionable shoots, reports and more!
