Hello everyone! I am Alya, a super excited cinephile that will be joining the Mediamatic family as a videographer intern. I am from Istanbul and I love cats :) I am currently studying at the UvA doing my Film Studies Master’s and I have graduated from Amsterdam University College.

Besides my studies I am a full time cinema addict and love to use my Cineville to its fullest. However luckily film is not my only personality as I also love playing guitar, singing in my bedroom, drawing cool pictures on Pinterest, doing analogue photography when Dutch weather allows me to, playing squash, dancing while cooking, watching concerts on Youtube and reading philosophical books if I am in the mood✨
