Bees at Mediamatic

We have two places at the Biotoop where two colonies of bees live. One of them is on the Clean Lab side of our terrain, close to the water. The other one is on the roof of the portacabin.

Both of them are checked at least once a year. None of the colonies are our responsibility.

Stages of development - Dwarf Honey bee This honeycomb belongs to a species of honey bees called "Dwarf Honey bees" (Apis florea). Their stings are often incapable of penetrating human skin. Bee swarm - It was an amazing experience to see a bee swarm! I even touched them: bees are really friendly insects, they aren't aggressive at all (unless you hurt them).
