Played in the 5ties and 6ties in Hollandia (Jaya Pura , West Papua) as saxofonist, trompettist, he was the leader of the jazzband Jollie Six. He merried my mother, Catherina (Kitty) van Leeuwen. Both were living in Hollandia from 1949 till 1962
