“Kamala” initiated his musical career in the summer of 1997 when he began spinning his first records as a DJ. An ecclectic blend of Nu Jazz, Nu Soul, Hip-Hop, Funk, Breaks, Broken Beat, House and deep minimal techno, his Dj sets are profound rythmic and emotional journeys, as testified by accredited stars such as Rainer Truby, Jazzanova, Chris Duckenfield, Llorca, Tiefschwartz and Richard Dorfmeister among others whom he has shared the Dj booth with. Currently respected as a solid name in the Portuguese scene, “Kamala” is resident Dj and booker of award winning bar / club “Estado Liquido” as well as being an integral part of the musical programming of Lisbon’s brand new Casino.
