For the second time, the leading lights of alternative pop & rock from the Low Lands will come together for a three-day party: Sonic Connections, april 1, 2 and 3. Young acts, hungry for excitement and experimentation. Expect unexpected crossovers, exceptional collaborations, stimulating visuals and theatrical effects. There are also many sideshows accompanying the main concerts: the Duo Disco, a disco for two; Steven de Peven's brand new Museum of Pointing Implements; the interactive Sonic Peepshow on Nesplein, as well as intimate local living-room concerts every evening.
On the Thursday afternoon, the Music Meeting of the Low Lands will take place in cooperation with the Dutch and Flemish Music Centres, bringing together professionals from the music scene, and there is a pop photography workshop by Flemish master Guy Kokken in cooperation with OOR.
