Wednesday 10 May 2006: Cyberasia

The last of a series on the increasingly important role of the Asian continent in the world of internet. Contrary to other announcements the evening will focus on the arts and internet. The guests will be My Yuming, Sookoon Yang, Onno Dirker and Sjoer Moenandar.

Wednesday 17 May 2006: Poetry on the Internet

An evening showing the results of co-operation between poets and designers: what can internet do that pen, paper or a word processor can’t?

Friday 19 May, 2006: EU-India Killerclub

As part of a two day workshop of the EU-India project 'Towards a Culture of Open Networks' Waag Society hosts a Killerclub that attempts to highlight the different shades of the Commons. Different participants of
the workshop (among others Lawrence Liang (Alternative Law Forum) and Rasmus Fleischer & Palle Torsson (Piratbyran/Piratgruppen)) will give presentations about their work and how they relate to the concept of a
commons.

Wednesday 31 May 2006: Rob and the Rebels

Another episode of /The End of the Netherlands in 12 steps/ edited by Rob van Kranenburg, Lotte Meijer, Jasmijn Snoijnk and Suzanne Hogendoorn. Why is our nation-state in decay? And what can we do about
it? In a dazzling multimedia spectacle the rebels will tackle these and other issues.
