Whether you're creating a virtual-reality space, a photograph, a film or a model, what do you need to make it look 'real'? How much detail does the viewer need to experience it as genuine? Should you strive for a picture-perfect image? Zooming In On Reality, a forum organised by Platform 21 and Premsela, will examine realities in detail: the true-to-life, the fantastical, the genuine and the unreal. The guests are all people who play with reality in their own unique ways, pursuing particular intentions and using specific media and tools.
