Assise di Palazzo Marigliano

Free-thinkers Academy

Experience nomadic encounters on large-scale issues (such as garbage, etc) with a free academy of citizens meeting in the beautiful Palazzo Marigliano with sunday morning briefings open to the public. Do not miss it (with an Italian speaking friend)! In the same building there is a nice little bar-theatre called Tintadirosso where it is sometimes possibile to find theatre and happy hour mixed together.

Le Assise of the city of Naples is a free academy founded from an assembly of citizens. Their aim is to create a permanent center of formation, search and scientific modernization on the conditions and the problems of the civil society, the atmosphere, the urban planning and the health of the people.
Le Assise carries ahead with determination and a continuous focus for the work of bringing together a vibrant group of young people and establishing a center of international information to the highest cultural and scientific levels. Their goal is to free Southern Italy and all of Italy from induced scientific falsifications coming from archaic economic forces. Up to now, these old institutions have succeeded to make wrong choices and allow old and harmful technologies to prevail. In this moment of deep crisis that Italy is crossing, a moment of confusion about these ideas and the following disorientation makes it necessary for le Assise the help promote updated scientific disciplines in order to search the truth in all. In this, they offer to the political and administrative powers the 'just solutions', pointing out to young people the ways they can contribute to rejuvinating civil and political customs.
