Buckwheat Tempeh Tastes like Black Bread!

In order to find out a nice taste of tempeh ware, we have been growing fungus rhizopus oryzae on different ingredients. This time we tried bulgur, buckwheat, corns and pop corns.

Some mycelium, but not all connected and firm, a lot of black spots(spores) with a lot of starter culture powder not grown scattered around probably because the ingredients are old and not dehulled.
