European Garden Spider babies 2

These are freshly hatched European Garden Spider (Araneus diadematus) babies. We spotted them on one of the Twijfel Zaaien grow beds during a communal gardening session this May. 

By summer these spiders will have reached adulthood and have spread all over the biotoop, weaving webs everywhere, including the Serres.

So the next time you see a spider remember they were once small and cute.
