Camilla Pang is a biochemist, a writer, and an autism advocate. Her book "Explaining Humans: What Science Can Teach Us about Life, Love and Relationships", in which she shares how science has helped her cope with being an "outlier" and become her ever-lasting inspiration of life, is the winner of the Royal Society Science Book Prize 2020. Being the youngest and the first writer of color to win this prestigious prize, she keeps on speaking for those who experience the world beyond normal ways, drawing on her rich knowledge as a scientist and passion as a truth seeker of life.
