Broadband Mechanics is working towards inter-connecting social networks (like this very network) with other social networks (like Holland's Hives or Bebo.) The goal is to make it easy for end-users to move their data wherever they wish. We're supporting OpenID and the upcoming OpenID2 protocols and formats to accomplish this dream. We'll then put that code into our own platform - called the PeopleAggregator. This white label solution is being used by companies around the world to "bring social to software".
