Non-linear thinking with Patricia Pisters

25 May 2002

Patricia Pisters, (teacher Film- and Television Studies, University of Amsterdam) talks about her publication Micropolitics of Media Culture: Reading the Rhizomes of Deleuze and Guattari. ‘This book focuses on the (micro) political implications of the work of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. Their strategy is less focused on ‘big politics’ but rather on micropolitical engagement. But what does ‘micropolitics’ mean in relation to contemporary culture?'
