Inner tube is an exhibition that explores the various possibilities of inner tubing, inside out, three versus two dimensionality, and more. To prepare for Inner tube, Maria Blaisse, a graduate of the Gerrit Rietveld academy's textile department, spoke with the logician Hans Barendregt.

Barendregt: “Mathematics is about the infinite possibilities of human thought, and that infinity only takes on meaning when you limit yourself. Creativity requires dogmas – basic assumptions we can examine, intuitively and systematically. The way Maria Blaisse has been working with inner tubes for twenty years is an example of this.???

Inner tube was curated by Dingeman Kuilman of the Premsela Foundation Platform 21.
