Out of the Present can unfortunately only be qualified as a non-movie.

Seminal observation of physio-political weightlessness as Cosmonaut Sergei Krikalev experiences the Soviet Union's break up from deep space during his 1991-92, ten month stay on board the Mir space station. When he returned to Earth on 25 March 1992, his country no longer existed.

INTRODUCED BY....
Jacqueline Myrrhe, space journalist and contractor for the European Space Agency.

OUT OF THE PRESENT
Andrei Ujica, BRD 1995, 96 min
Out of the Present is simultaneously an informative documentary, trippy visual orgy and tangential politico-philosophical meditation. Whichever way you approach it - immensely enjoyable! But it's not of course without its detractors, Denmark's 'Freycinet' comments on IMDB.com that "As such, it can only appeal to the most hard-core space buff, who already know much about the Soviet space program and just want to see a few more images from MIR."

4,50 euro geld.
