Duncan Shingleton

Duncan Shingleton is an undergraduate student, enrolled on BA/BSc (Hons) Digital Art and Technology at the University of Plymouth. His research is centered on the emergence of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) as a mainstream technology and its resulting social impact. Current projects include “Loci” a locative based Wiki using Nokia Near Field Communications, Judgement Day for 1st Life Game Figures in collaboration with the Ludic Society, and research into generative sound synthesis using RFID.
