Presentation from Mac to screen or projector

  1. Go to the apple icon, left up on your screen

  2. Go to Service Preferences...

  3. Go to Displays

  4. Go to Arrangment
    Note: This only shows up when you are connected to a screen or projector!

  5. If you want people to see what you see on the screen, you click Mirror Display

  6. To rearrange the displays, drag them to the desired position. To relocate the menu bar, drag it to a different display.

F.A.Q.

  • My text disappears the moment I drag my image or video on the slide. How do I get my text back?
    Right-mouse-click on the image. Click send to back. Hopefully this solves the problem.

Presentation from Windows to screen or projector

  1. Connect the beamer to your PC
  2. Go to Settings --> System --> Display
  3. If you want the beamer to show what you see on your screen, press Windows key & P at the same time and select Duplicate. Then you should see the following image (1/2)

  4. If you want the beamer to show only the presentation, press Windows key & P at the same time and select Extend

  6. You can change the position of your screen by dragging screen number 1 or screen number 2 into a different position. 

Note: Under Multiple Display, check which screen is chosen to be your main screen (the one in which you operate, including seeing the speaker notes during a presentation)
