Mediamatic was founded in 1983 in Groningen, moved in 1986 to Amsterdam and has since then moved to several different locations in Amsterdam. This is an overview.

Industrieel erfgoed op het Oostenburgereiland (Oostenburg) in Amsterdam, in handen van kinderwagen fabrikant Bugaboo. Van december 2011 tot december 2014 was hier Mediamatic Fabriek gevestigd.

The Mediamatic offices are located on the 3rd floor of Duintjer CS, the former ABN building at the Vijzelstraat, in the centre of Amsterdam.

Mediamatic is a cultural institution based in Amsterdam. From July 2008 till 2011 our exhibition space, Mediamatic Bank, has been situated at Vijzelstraat 68 in Amsterdam. Here we put on events

Mediamatic moved into Post CS in 2004. We moved out in July 2008.

The Mediamatic office was located here, from 1994 to 2004, in the former School of Nautical Studies on the Prins Hendrikkade 191-193, 1011TD Amsterdam
july 1986 - july 1994
During the mid 80s Mediamatic moved from Groningen to Amsterdam. In 1986 Entrepotdok was Mediamatic's first official location in Amsterdam.
Artotheek Groningen, july 1985 - july 1986
Mediamatic had from 1985 to 1987 a place in the Artotheek, the then municipal library, in the building the "Faun" at the Zuiderdiep.
