After graduating from the High Institute for Dramatic Arts-Acting Department in 1995, Nora has been sent to France in a mission to perform her practical studies on the movement theater under the supervision of Theatre du Mouvement in Paris and the institute of L’Erac . There Nora studied the movement theatre and the mechanism of teaching it in addition to modern dancing workshops under the supervision of F. Werle & M.F. Gautry, and Flamengo Dancing supervised by M. Garcia. When Nora returned back to Damascus in 1999, she started her career as an assistant teacher in the institute of the High Institution of Dramatic Arts 1996- 2003. She established the Leish Troupe in 1999 and managed it artistically.

As an actress, Nora has produced eight theater plays, 16 TV series the last two ones was Fatima bnt Asjam in Abu zed al Hilali directed by: Basel Al Khatib, Dunia in Station 30 Directed by: Hind Midani, and 2 cinema movie in addition to many programs at Damascus radio broadcast. As an director assistant, Nora has worked on three theater plays the main of which is Ras with the French director P. Rambert, and the opening and closing ceremony of Damascus Cinema Festival 2000 and 2003 where she directed the photomontage of awards. Nora has designed the movement for seven theater plays and the Mohammad Malas’ & Hala Yakob’s movie On the sand under the Sun.
