Oliver Haller is the head of the costume department at Dutch National Ballet (Het Nationale Ballet) since 2003.
Haller (born 1967, Flensburg, Germany) studied costume and fashion design at the Fashion Academy Charles Montaigne in Amsterdam and became a master scenographer at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. After his studies he worked in musicals for Joop van den Ende Theaterproductions, later as an designers assistant for the Salzburg Festival, opera director Peter Sellars and The Dutch Opera. As a freelancer costume designer he has realised projects for Krzysztof Pastor, Ted Brandsen and Ernst Meisner.
