This is Otto, our new office dog.
He comes to work with Marie whenever she’s here and then gets to hang out with everyone at Mediamatic.
Otto loves playing, napping, and sniffing things - a talent that is for him, compared to all his human colleagues, totally off the charts.
Where humans possess about 6 million olfactory receptors, Otto has roughly 300 million! The part of his brain that is devoted to analysing smells is relatively speaking 40 times greater than that of humans.
With that kind of CV, we're encouraging Otto to apply for an internship at our Aroma Lab, but at this stage he's more focused on attending the next Dog Dinner (as part of the Multispecies Dinner Series).
