The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) is a 16-bit video game console. It was first released in 1990, and was Nintendo's second home console, following the NES. The SNES controller featured so-called shoulder buttons, located at the top of the ergonomic controller.

The SNES was sold with Super Mario World, in which the friendly dinosaur Yoshi makes his first appearance.
