From March to September 2013, the Tostifabriek team ran a mini-city farm to show what it takes to make a sandwich. A living art project including grain field, three cows and two pigs. For 7 months the cows and pigs were fed, milked, harvested and finally slaughtered. The Tostifabriek organised guided tours and workshops for children, adults and anyone who wanted to know more about the origin of their food. The first sandwiches were harvested in September 2013.
