Mediamatic 1983

In the summer of 1983 Willem Velthoven, Jan Wijle Frits Maats, Barbara Pyle, Marieken Verheyen and Willem Mulder establish Mediamatic Foundation to support artists in the use of new technologies. The first events will take place in "The Faun" at the Zuiderdiep in Groningen.

On December the 16th Ooghoogte takes place, a video art and performance event organised by Mediamatic at Artotheek Groningen.
