Tonight's cook was Marianne Rosenberg, a true specialist in the Mediterranean kitchen. She was schooled in France, has a huge interest in the cuisine of other Southern countries, and is busy nowadays with her own company Coeck. In addition to her passion for the south, she also has a passion for pastry. Pieter Hubregtse, chef at KamerKook assisted her on this special southern night.
Appetizers like savory filo pastries and sausage rolls were served. After a joint cooking effort the large pot of lentil soup was ready to be served to the waiting guests. The main course consisted of corn polenta, ratatouille and a salad. For dessert we could choose between different fruit pastry and chocolate.
Over Datum Eetclub 16 took place at Mediamatic Bank, Vijzelstraat 68, Amsterdam.
