This page contains the space plan, standard set up and lecture set up, technical inventory, furniture inventory of the Sluisdeurenloods.

The Sluisdeurenloods (floodgates) is the biggest space at Mediamatic Biotoop. The robust wooden building is ideal for bigger events and can host up to 150 people, although there have been bigger events which are possible once the doors are fully open. We have weddings & funerals with big number. In the back of the barn a large projection screen of  3.3 meter (high) by 6.5 meter (wide) is installed.

The microphones set up which is now a permanent fixture, is a Shure wirelass combo system with two BLX microphones. This should never be removed from the barn. You can find two spare wireless mics and their receiver units in the flight cases at the back on the workshop.

The projector which is permanently installed is an Epson EB - L735U. The projector is directly connected to the permanent sound system in the barn. If you do not get an Audio signal from the screen source it is important to check the audio output on the device.

 

he barn has an interesting history and happens to be one of the last of its kind.

The grey area is the workshop / storage space.

The available space is then roughly 12 to 12 metres. 

Up until the wooden beams, the barn is 3.42 metres high.
