In this workshop you will dye the wool of Dutch sheep with the rhizome, root structure, of Japanese knotweed, a plant on which sheep graze. We will apply several techniques developed by Lucie and create a colour palette of eight to fifteen colours during the workshop.

Lucie Havel is an artist fascinated with the way humans relate to nature. During the workshop she will introduce her work and show different dyeing processes with wool and Japanese knotweed.
