Bus

If your final destination is situated in the heart of Noord, it’s best to travel by bus. To travel by bus, you must purchase a public transport chip card (or ‘OV-chipkaart’ in Dutch), or buy a single way ticket. The best thing for tourists is to buy a disposable public transport chip card, as those are cheaper than single tickets. It already carries some balance for the first few trips. The disposable chip cards can only be purchased at the stations.

The bus stations in Noord are named Buikslotermeerplein and Molenwijk. There’s a bus map in every bus stop.
