Ignite

Ignite is run by locals, for locals. Fast-paced and merciless, speakers get five minutes to present, making use of twenty slides that auto-advance every fifteen seconds. All presentations are given in English.

Speakers

Itamar Gilboa

For a year, Itamar kept track of everything he consumed. Food Chain Project shows white plaster casts of all these products. Among them: 133 cucumbers, 567 sandwiches, 111 liters red wine, 18 kroketten, 155 lemons, 123 liters diet Coke, and 490 tomatoes.

Brouwerij De Vriendschap

De Vriendschap is a relatively young brewery from Amsterdam-Noord. In a little over a year, friends Aart and Peter exchanged their 10-liter brewing starters kit for a 1000-liter pan at a professional brewery. We'll not only be hearing about their plans, but they'll also be selling their bottled beers and perhaps a few experiments.

Allison Guy

In August 2013, the first laboratory hamburger was revealed. Next Nature Lab takes the idea of lab-meat a bit further, and invited cooks, designers, engineers and artists to imagine meals in a world in which laboratory food is normal. These ideas and designs have been collected in the Vitro Meat Cookbook.
